America's Frontier Fund Announces New Team Members

Arlington, Virginia, August 4, 2022 — America’s Frontier Fund (AFF) proudly announced three new team members: Norman Winarsky, Lilian Wan, and Solange Guyot.

Norman Winarsky joins AFF as a General Partner. He is responsible for leading investments and incubation efforts across foundational technologies. Norman comes to AFF with a wealth of experience in launching startups based on technologies ranging from communications, biosciences, energy, computing and information technology, space systems, and robotics. Notably, he co-founded Siri, the first virtual personal assistant to put AI and natural language into hundreds of millions of consumer’s hands, which was acquired by Apple.

Lilian Wan joins AFF as Executive Vice President of Investor Relations and Development. In this role, she leads the organization’s efforts to develop long-term capital raising strategies, builds relationships with institutional investors, and oversees all fundraising activities. Lilian brings over 25 years of asset management and investment experience. She was most recently a senior executive at BlackRock, where she built and had direct P/L responsibility for a number of firm’s most important client relationships, including asset owners across the federal government, corporate and public plan sponsors, and foundations and endowments. Lilian is a CFA charterholder.

Solange Guyot joins AFF as Executive Assistant, providing support for the AFF’s leadership. Solange held several positions at The World Bank in Washington, DC. She was the Senior Executive Assistant at the Office of the United States Executive Director. Previously, she was a Program Assistant at the office that represents the governments of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka. Prior to this, she worked in Sustainable Development for Latin America.
