“The bipartisan CHIPS for America Act is a critical step toward bolstering our economic competitiveness and national security. Passing this legislation, however, is only the beginning. To win the great technology race we are in, the United States must use these funds to achieve the complete reinvigoration of the U.S. microelectronics ecosystem. This will require swift and strategic investments that unlock private capital, lower barriers to entry for innovative startups, engage our country’s best and brightest, and activate the many R&D and innovation centers spread across our great nation. If we can do this, then the United States - guided by the unbounded, entrepreneurial, American spirit - will maintain its technological leadership for decades to come. America's Frontier Fund looks forward to President Biden's signing this bipartisan legislation into law and stands ready to help turn the vision of the CHIPS Act into reality."
