Vrushank Vora

Advisor

Vrushank Vora is an Advisor at America’s Frontier Fund, where he supports the efforts on machine intelligence and data science.

Vrushank previously built a company that trained neural networks to organize supply chains. These algorithms optimized billions in working capital for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies. Prior to entrepreneurship, Vrushank led Machine Intelligence efforts at General Assembly. While there, he trained 100+ students and built out a curriculum that up-skilled thousands of workers in data science. His cohorts were featured at Google’s Inaugural Tensorflow Conference, and his students now lead Data Science at some of the top technology companies in the world, including Yelp, Intuit, Chegg, Lyft, and others. Vrushank has published at some of the top machine learning conferences in the world, such as ACM SIGKDD. He was also one of the earliest people to productize distributed reinforcement learning. He is currently most interested in scaling heterogeneous computing in cost- and energy-efficient ways.

Vrushank earned his B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics at the University of Chicago and his M.S. in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning Systems at Georgia Institute of Technology.
